Review Hiroyasu Asakura 2026 www.concert-classical-guitar.com
Here is the new Hiroyasu Asakura 2026. Hiro is one of the few Japanese luthiers to design modern guitars inspired by Australian luthier Simon Marty. The radial bracing is radial (in a star shape around the bridge), and the back and sides' solid structure gives power, clarity, voice separation, and an astonishing length of sound. The sound color is crystalline and magical. Easy to play with dreamy Japanese-style lutherie. Powerful, beautiful sound with dreamy, all-Japanese craftsmanship. This guitar is simply breathtaking.
Hiroyasu Asakura is a guitar maker based in Japan Tokorozawa and has been making guitars since 2001. His guitars are influenced by Greg Smallmann John Gilbert and most importantly Simon Marty. He won the 1st price luthier competition in 2014 organised by Gendai.
The guitar has a radial bracing which gives the guitar an important volume with crytal-clear notes and a huge string separation.
